I was simply stating I didn't know who he was. Suicide is a tragedy irrespective of ones social standing. All human lives carry the same value. People are fickle. |

I don't think this is true. Not all lives have the same impact on the world as others. People whose work/creativity/inventiveness/job reaches millions have a greater impact than your average person. Their deaths are recognised, honoured and mourned on a wider scale than regular people who didn't achieve the same heights. Some poor souls featured on this site die without being identified or claimed, let alone mourned. Not all lives are equal. |

We'll have to agree to disagree on this I guess. Perhaps my point was more philosophical than the cruelty of reality. All lives should be equal but we live in an awful world.
