There actually is because all 3 gunman faced the DP when they decided to play more games and take hostages. France doesn't have the tolerance for that kind of bullshit. The girl that's still lose, well as much as I'd like to see her get the instant DP too, she could be used for intelligence. Agreed. The response isn't to submit to and validate the threats and violence. If everyone responded to each protest, threat and violent attack by publishing the "offensive" material—everywhere—it would send the message that not only will countries with freedom of speech defend their right, but Islamist violence only makes things worse for themselves.

Or, since it's understandable for publications to be scared, can they at least support the brave people defending THEIR right to freedom of expression rather than vilifying them as troublemakers who are asking for it?

Not trying to be rude, but once again - when I say Death Penalty, I mean convicted in a court of law and being sentenced to death.

Being killed in a shoot out is more 'instant justice' in my book.


I don't think she holds much intel at this point - they've interrogated her in the past and while she offered up which country they had gone to, to "bow train" women aren't generally privy to many inside details. She followed her husband, she wasn't taught to think of all this own her own.
