I'm probably going to be judged harshly for this,but this is one crime I can sort of see how it happened.I've been a carer for a disabled person,and that shit's HARD. Governments have been cutting services & subsidies for years now,and kids that used to be in institutions or at least in part-time care are now looked after full time by parents who are ill-equipped to handle their kids' disabilities,& have NO life other than attending to that child.Add a hospital system that used to give doctors the discretion to let babies like this die naturally,who are now pressured to save the life of kids like this at birth regardless of quality of life & you have a recipe for disaster. Worst case I ever saw was a teen who was blind,deaf,mute,had less than the mental capacity of a newborn,bedridden,couldn't eat without a tube & wore diapers.His parents were expected to take care of an adult-sized,non-responsive entity,that lay in bed,said nothing & gave no love.Seeing his tiny mother nearly having a stroke trying to turn him over several times a day to change him or avoid bedsores was heartbreaking. They were exhausted & had contemplated suicide many times. This isn't to say disabled kids can't thrive,but their parents need lots of help,understanding & time off to actually live if there's to be any quality of life for both parent & child.

I have been in the medical field for almost 17 years, I know what your sayin and I have witnessed many families in distress, but thats when you call child protective services on yourself, you dont resort to murder.

This was intentional murder.

Not always. They do it for the attention.

There was a case of a woman who killed 9 babies. They caught on when an adopted child died.

Her name is Marybeth Tinning. She was featured in the fabulous, "HBO Autopsy Files," but, I cannot find it on here. A lot of them were removed by youtube.

Pour some table salt in it, its just hard to get down with that fragrance in it.

This mother could have easily removed herself from the child's life, there are plenty of people willing to provide love and care for a disabled child. what she did displayed complete narcicism on her part, if she couldn't handle it she was unwilling to let anyone else try.

Not from saving them; just for having a child that is sick or injured.
