I had something similar on my son when he was little, we had a pool at the time. It was a vest attached to a floating ring. He was standing on the step next to the spa. He moved off the step and as he did the thing somehow flipped him over. It only took seconds to happen and seconds for me to pick him up and out of the water. I threw that thing in the trash. The ring that was supposed to hold them up in the water, held him under the water.

I remember being at a pool at a hotel once just relaxing in the water. Pool wasn't too crowded, little girl slipped through her tube float thingy down at the deep end. Luckily I noticed her drowning and pulled her out. At the same time I realized nobody noticed she was drowning or what just happened. Group of parents were just having a blast talking within themselves drinking their damn cocktails. I casually just got out of the water and left. The end lol. |
