The last time I saw this guy live was on Face the Nation, when they interviewed him, via satellite, back in '82 or '83. Not sure of the year. At the time, Libya was an arch enemy of the U. S., but at least Khadaffi appeared alive. Now, he looks like some of the corpses we post here in DR.  |

What else do you want? It is a different culture, thanks to dictatorship different muslim groups won't slaughter each other. If you bring socalled democracy in those countries things will end up in anarchy like Afghanistan and Irak.

Maybe you are right. especially since in the case of Iraq, the insurgents and religious zealots were essentially nionexistent when Saddam Hussein was in power. I REALLY DO believe that the US did the Iraqui people in general, a disservice. now they are suffering an infestation of Muslim Maniacs....crazies...zealots....

Indeed. At one time, he was a raging asshole, much like Saddam Hussein was. But after the U. S. bombed him back in '86, he sure changed his tune.

They gladly accepted western money for their petroleum and petroleum products as well as some other resources. they sent their children to the UK US France and other western countries for education (and leisure). they got a taste of OUR culture, and the zealots and extremists did not like the fact that some Muslims liked the freedom afforded them in OUR WESTERN lands.... Then, they started infesting OUR lands....bringing with the moderate Muslims,....the crazies and the zealots...... Look at the UK and the US now. we are all expected to accept their laws....watch them harrass US in "THEIR neighborhoods", and now, they want SHARIA Law.....IN OUR COUNTRIES.....
