Re: Jordanian Pilot Burned Alive
ISIS led Jordan to believe that pilot was still alive, and tried to trade prisoners....... Now after they couldn't provide proof of life, they are claiming that he was burned a month ago. They can't be trusted on any level. |

Re: Jordanian Pilot Burned Alive
Jordan executes 2 al-Qaida prisoners after ISIS kills pilot AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Jordan executed by hanging early Wednesday as Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouly. Over the past week, Jordan had offered to trade al-Rishawi, a failed suicide bomber, for the pilot, Lt. Muath al-Kaseasbeh, but froze any swap after saying it had received no proof that the pilot was still alive. Al-Rishawi had been sentenced to death after her 2005 role in a triple hotel bombing in Amman that killed 60 people. Al-Karbouly was sent to death row in 2008 for plotting terror attacks on Jordanians in Iraq. The killing of the pilot outraged Jordanians and drew worldwide condemnation, including from President Barack Obama and the U.N. Security Council. Al-Kaseasbeh had fallen into the hands of the militants in December when his F-16 crashed near Raqqa, Syria, the de facto capital of the Islamic State group's self-styled caliphate. He is the only coalition pilot to be captured to date. The killing of the 26-year-old pilot appeared aimed at pressuring the government of Jordan — a close U.S. ally — to leave the coalition that has carried out months of airstrikes targeting Islamic State positions in Syria and Iraq. But the extremists' brutality against a fellow Muslim could backfire and galvanize other Sunni Muslims in the region against them. King Abdullah II has portrayed the campaign against the extremists as a battle over values. |

Re: Jordanian Pilot Burned Alive
Kill them, kill them all, kill their male progeny so their bloodline dies with them...destroy every mosque and be merciless. Enough is enough. Never surrender, fight to the death, these bastards will kill all prisoners anyway. |

Re: Jordanian Pilot Burned Alive
You know, its easy to say "nuke these fuckers" ad hominem but as they are stateless, anonymous its a pipe dream. Who do you aim them at? I have said this a thousand times, one way would be to detonate one in the middle of some desert, with a very clear warning that the next one will be on Mecca, then Medina, then Qom, then the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. If they are genuine Muslims, you would think they might think twice before carrying out their sickening acts of barbarism. Dont forget, during WW2 that idea of a "demonstration" to Japan was floated, but nixed because it would have blunted the effectiveness of the strike. Also if the US was to launch a nuke, they would have to inform Russia and China, which again, blunts the effectiveness of the strike. I would imagine that the strike would come from a submarine; they only take about 10 mins to reach their target, even less if flown on a depressed trajectory. But then again, these maniacs actually dont see death as a deterrent, they see it as an INCENTIVE. So its a tricky situation for sure. |
