Joey Jordison Has Passed Away
What the fucking hell?! RIP Joey. I remember how broken the band were when Paul Gray passed away, no doubt this is going to hit them hard too. Nathan Jonas "Joey" Jordison 26th April 1975 – 26th July 2021 Amongst others, Joey was the drummer for Slipknot + Murderdolls. He passed away in his sleep.

Him and Dusy Hill from ZZ top. Sad. Joey had transverse myelitis, an odd and seldom heard of type of multiple sclerosis. He lost the ability to play the drums due to his legs not functioning after 2016. His symptoms started to get really bad around 2013, the same year he was fired from slipknot. |

I read an article that said his condition was so bad they (the band) had to literally carry him on stage during his last show with them. :( My heart is so broken, he was too young, too talented....gone way too soon. |

To state the obvious, what a fucking legend he was. Slipknot has always been a favorite of mine and how unjust it was when he couldn't drum anymore thanks to his illness. Only 46 too, geez. Hope he's reunited with Paul now, RIP Joey. |
