Japanese Drinker Wakes Up Missing His Leg on Railway Track After Work Night Out
From what I understand, alcohol gives people quite a pass over in Japan. It's totally cool for a worker to have some drinks with his boss and then completely curse him out as long as he was sufficiently inebriated at the time. |

Re: Japanese Drinker Wakes Up Missing His Leg on Railway Track After Work Night Out
The train wheel probably just crushed his leg to the point of amputation, which would have left the blood vessels pinched closed. In the 911 section of this site, there's a call from a guy who was split in half by a train. He still lived long enough to call and inform the operator that he was going into shock.
