about 88 000 missing according to some sources... missing is not dead but still I bet there will be pretty many casualties among those numbers... and an emergency at one nuclear powerplant, no reported leaks

That is horrible and I hope the casualties are not as high as originally anticipated. One thing about the Japanese and that is that they are strong. If they can rebuild from WWII they can do it again.
