According to the IDF, soldiers and police forces followed a report that "several Israeli civilians had slaughtered livestock and vandalized Palestinian property.

Jewish settlers beat and slaughtered animals belonging to a Palestinian family, members of which were also assaulted, in the West Bank on Monday, Army Radio reported.

According to the IDF, soldiers and police forces attended to a call from the Samua area, following a report that "several Israeli civilians had slaughtered livestock and vandalized property on a Palestinian plot of land."

The IDF registered three Palestinians injured during the incident, who were evacuated for medical treatment.

"Upon the arrival of the forces, no suspects were located in the area. Security forces are currently continuing searches at the site," IDF reported.

On Sunday, attorney Omer Nahmani, head of the Returning with Wisdom NGO and former spokesman for Democratic Union chairman Yair Golan, sent a letter on Sunday to Shin Bet chief David Zini, urging the Shin Bet to act after three Jews linked with the Hilltop Youth movement allegedly attacked a pregnant Arab woman in Jaffa

In the letter, the attorney warned that settler violence is being shifted from the West Bank into Israel’s cities.

The letter followed an incident in which a woman was allegedly attacked while sitting in her car with her five-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter.

According to the family, three Jewish youths sprayed pepper spray into the vehicle, shouted threats and obscenities, and fled. The woman was evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center in light condition.

On December 16, an Israeli settler shot dead a 16-year-old Palestinian in Tuqu' after the funeral of another teenager, the town's mayor said.

Several youths were gathered by the main street when a settler shot 16-year-old Muheeb Jibril in the head, Tuqu' Mayor Mohammed al-Badan told.

Violence has escalated in the West Bank since the beginning of the war in Gaza in October 2023.

Attacks by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank have increased sharply, with the UN reporting the highest number of attacks on record in October.

95% of criminal cases were opened by Israel against settlers for violence against Arabs or Israeli security forces. The majority are right wing radicals and a few left wing anarchists.

Most of the settlers are not like that.

Hilltop youth and Ideological religious Zionists, some living in illegal outpost settlements, are probably the main perps.

On the other hand Islamist militant groups like Hamas or Pij are carrying out attacks against Israelian civilians.


This shows, again, that being extreme right or left, even when you're a minority, can fuck up daily life for many others and can create a certain sentiment.

Dawood said it was the second settler attack on the family in less than two months. He called it “part of a systematic and ongoing pattern of settler violence targeting Palestinian civilians, their property and their means of livelihood, carried out with impunity under the protection of the Israeli occupation.”

During October’s olive harvest, settlers across the territory launched an average of eight attacks daily, the most since the United Nations humanitarian office began collecting data in 2006. The attacks continued in November, with the U.N. recording at least 136 by Nov. 24.

Another thing the settlers have been doing a lot lately is terrorizing local mosques.

A common theme among both groups, Islamic and Israeli, is bothering the others while simply trying to worship (see above attack on man praying. And see video posted by techno of people yelling at jews going to synagogue.)

ore than 100 Israeli settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem on Wednesday, accompanied by heavy Israeli police presence, according to a Palestinian official.

The official from the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, who preferred not to be named, told Anadolu Agency (AA) that 109 illegal settlers entered the mosque during the morning period and after the noon prayer.

He said the incursions took place through the Moroccan Gate on the western side of the mosque in groups and under police protection, and performed prayers and Talmudic rituals inside the flashpoint site.

Since 2003, Israeli police have allowed illegal settlers to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound despite repeated objections from the Islamic Waqf, which administers the site.

Violations at the complex have increased since far-right politician Itamar Ben-Gvir assumed office as Israel's national security minister in late 2022, with Ben-Gvir and other ministers and members of the Knesset participating in such visits, Palestinian officials said.

Al-Aqsa Mosque is the world's third-holiest site for Muslims. Jews call the area the Temple Mount, saying it was the site of two Jewish temples in ancient times.

Israel occupied East Jerusalem, where Al-Aqsa is located, during the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. It annexed the entire city in 1980 in a move never recognized by the international community.
