Israeli Lawmaker’s Call for Genocide of Palestinians
A day before Palestinian teenager Muhammad Abu Khudair was kidnapped and burned alive allegedly by six Israeli Jewish youths, Israeli lawmaker Ayelet Shaked published on Facebook a call for genocide of the Palestinians. It is a call for genocide because it declares that “the entire Palestinian people is the enemy” and justifies its destruction, “including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.” It is a call for genocide because it calls for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to “little snakes.” If Shaked’s post does not meet the legal definition of a call for genocide then nothing does. Shaked is a senior figure in the Habeyit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) party that is part of Israel’s ruling coalition. Her post was shared more than one thousand times and received almost five thousand “Likes.” Uri Elitzur, to whom she refers, and who died a few months ago, was leader of the settler movement and speechwriter and close advisor to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Here’s a full translation of Shaked’s posting: Shocking words like this from Israeli leaders have an impact. And they are words backed by actions. When Israel rampages against the entire Palestinian population, subjecting them to what Human Rights Watch calls “collective punishment,” it sends a clear message to the Israeli public that any Palestinian is fair game for “revenge.” Shaked evidently has much worse in mind. source |

I don't know how some people can ignore that there are 2 sides in this fight, and both have blood on their hands. BTW- She's hot |

Re: Israeli Lawmaker’s Call for Genocide of Palestinians
Exactly. The fighting is just fucking childish. The area should just declare itself "Palisrael" or "Israstine", make Arabic and Hebrew official languages and be done with it. Level the playing field, so to speak. |

Re: Israeli Lawmaker’s Call for Genocide of Palestinians
That will never happen. There are too many contested holy sites, too many tombs of historically revered martyrs from either faith sharing the same real estate, and too many centuries of bad blood stretching as far back as the book of Exodus. The only solution -- the inevitable solution -- to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict will be the destruction of either one state or the other; and should Israel prevail in such an event, it -- and by extension, us -- will have the rest of the Arab Muslim world with which to contend. It's simply a matter of time. |

Re: Israeli Lawmaker’s Call for Genocide of Palestinians
The biggest roadblock is what to do with Jerusalem. It'd been proposed to make it an international city that nobody owns, sounds good to me If America threatened to cut funding, and actually meant it, Israel would have no choice but to make concessions such as this. This land has no strategic military value, like the vast majority of settlements it's largely based on religious views. As it is, Israel has no real incentive to back out of settlements. Every year that goes by the area and numbers go up, they are willing to put up with a few primitive rocket attacks and terror attacks to keep on expanding. |

Yes. But something needs to wake up most Jews, Muslims and some Christians there to a concept called sharing. It's like any other ethnic squabble, just pointless. What ticks me off most is how Israel treats the minority Palestinian population; it's 21st Century aparteid as far as I'm concerned. No wonder the Palestinians lash out at the Israelis.

Re: Israeli Lawmaker’s Call for Genocide of Palestinians
Too much given to Palestine and not enough truth behind the propaganda involving Palestinian shelling from schools, hospitals and public centers and Jewish return salvo will be to the point of origin...think about the bullshit! The Jews have made all the concession and the Palestinians have only created chaos. The small area the Jews occupy is infinitesimal compared to Palestine! |
