That was over ten years after the Steven Lawrence murder. His name was kriss Donald if anyone wants to look up the case. It was on national and European news, granted only for a few days. Credit to Stephen Lawrence's mother it was her that kept the case in the public eye. Also the fact that one of the killers came from a well know crime family and had a load of bent coppers on his pay roll also helped make the case a media friendly story.

I got the cases mixed up and cannae recall what it clashed with

I just heard it clashed with something more high profile for some reason at the time and family I have up there were annoyed.
