Pardon my logic, however I have my doubts that a craft weighing around a ton falling from about 50,000 feet suffered a dent and a cracked wing.

Who ever said it 'fell' out of the sky? I don't believe the Iranians are smart enough to intercept it electronically but there are many possibilities as to why it didn't return to base. For all we know it malfunctioned and auto landed at the wrong 'home' location. |

That's not true. China produces 200million tons of oil every year. The trouble is that they use 455 million tons. They also have companies that have invested in exploration and development in countries that have oil fields but do not have funds or technology to develop them (places such as Sudan) |
