In a shocking case, a 10-year old boy was sexually assaulted by eight men in East Delhi’s Geeta Colony area. The accused also videographed the incident with which they blackmailed the victim’s family.
According to the police, the victim’s father had complained that eight men from his locality had lured his son on the pretext of showing him pigeons and then sexually assaulted him several times.
One of the accused identified as Jeevan Lal has been arrested by the police. Other accused — Vinit, Manish, Khainu, Monu, Debu, Pachi and Bikram — are absconding.
The victim’s father who works in a private company and stays with his wife, father and two sons, said, “I can’t even tell what they did to my son. It was horrific. I am still getting threat calls from them. They claim they are constantly watching us and will strike soon. We are really scared.”
The police added that it has registered another case of causing serious hurt after the victim’s grandfather was beaten up by the remaining seven accused while he was on his way to the police station to make a complaint. Investigating officers said that the absconding seven accused would be arrested soon as they have identified their hideouts.
“The family should be assured that we are with them and the accused will not be able to anything to them,” a senior police officer said. The cops added that they are questioning the arrested accused Jeevan Lal and are trying to trace the video which the accused claimed to have made. Further investigations are on.

I saw a doco on Pakistan (some of it covered India) where it was said that 95 percent of bus drivers have had sex with a child, usually a boy. I'm assuming that the bus drivers may have been molested themselves, and that this stretches as a repeating pattern, back through the generations.

So, sadly, this doesn't surprise me
