Incubator Bashes Son's Head With a Hammer & More!
<iframe width="416" height="384" src="http://www.hlntv.com/embed/34525" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen scrolling="no"></iframe> 40-year-old Tenika Revell, has been dubbed "monster mom" by the New York Daily News, and was the subject of Monday night's episode of Nancy Grace on HLN. The 40-year-old prostitute, is charged with killing her 9-year-old son Bernard. The allegations against Revell are chilling. Cops claim that she attempted to electrocute her son by dropping electrical appliances into the bathtub, and when that failed she beat his head in with a hammer, and choked him with a belt. After the horrific murder, Revell called 911 confessing to the murder and said she had taken pills to kill herself. Revell's suicide attempt failed, and she is currently in custody. Those close to Revell claim that her motive for murdering her son was that she was diagnosed with terminal cancer and didn't want anyone else to raise her son. Now Revell is charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and endangering the welfare of a child. Many people are wondering why the mother is not charged with first degree premeditated murder, when she clearly confessed that she intentionally killed her son. This is not Revell's first run in with the law. Revell has a criminal record that includes prostitution, attempted robbery and burglary. *So, this is the new thing.
