In short, you have the rights to get the religion you want, but in no way in public places, only in your house or religious places...That's it for christians, muslims jews or whatever...So no visible crosses, no jellaba, no burka, no kippah no related religion speeches...They don't respect that, worst they turn it in their advantage, and for example, stop working in the middle of rush hours to prey.(saw it by myself) because they only remind "you have the rights to get the religion you want" trust me I know what I'm saying...

You're right about being a secular country. I prefer it to a theocracy any day. I don't agree with banning the public display of religion though. If people want to wear a spaghetti strainer on their heads, I'm fine with that. Regarding stopping everything to pray, I'm not in agreement with that. If a person was gracious enough to give you a job, then follow the rules at work. Nearly every employer accommodates some form of break during the shift. If they choose to smoke rather than using it to pray, then I question their alleged piety. And they can always do it after they get home. Islam is pretty flexible with that... if things that are out of your control then you can't help it. You can make up missed prayers. Hell, you can even eat a pig if that's all that's available.

I'd love to visit Europe again. I use to live in Augsburg, both before and after the wall came down. Germany was a pretty good place to be for travelling... I could visit Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, and England all in the same road trip. I hope to see it all again one day, but that's probably several years away.

What you just said actually highlights what I've been trying to explain about something. North Africa has a cultural problem. Rape, murder, female genital mutilation... it's rampant and is present across all religious demographics there. It's tribalism at its worst. Unfortunately, France thought it would be a great idea to play empire there. I would think the situation would be beyond difficult regarding immigration, considering that there are probably some old hostilities brewing. That's not to say that they are all like that, but it wouldn't be surprising if it's there.
I would say you are fortunate to live away from the city (I think you said you lived in a rural area), as population density is typically an indicator of how bad a situation can get. Frustrations run even higher when people are cramped.

I'm not sure I understand the contradiction.
I believe in letting people wear whatever they choose. Although I'm against the burka (completely covering the face) and see zero support for it in Islam (it existed before Islam was around), I would feel uncomfortable forbidding people to wear something of a religious nature if that's what they wanted to do.
