Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Minneapolis Woman
Common sense- why was he in front of a vehicle? Why didn’t he move out of the way of the vehicle? (Oh wait he did!) shots were not necessary. And even if he thought they were, why didn’t he stay at the scene of a shooting as he is supposed to? Instead he went home to pack his bags. He was safe and was lucky his shooting of her didn’t lead to multiple people dying as her car went out of control (that’s why shotting people behind the wheel of the car is bad. It endangers everybody!) He was in the wrong spot (in front of a vehicle which goes against training), fired his weapon when he could and did step out of the way of car going .2 mph with wheels not even facing him, could have hit other officers or bystanders because he was so ready to go off with his gun (had it out before she’d put car in drive), and because he shot a person in a car, a very dangerous thing to do, her car went out of control. They were just lucky that there wasn’t anyone between her car and that telephone pole. He was reckless and how he approached the vehicle, with a cell phone and one hand and a gun and other, when against all protocol, then flood the scene like a coward, and his fellow officers didn’t even offer any kind of medical aid to her, which is also part of their training. |

Common sense would have told her to stop the car when told to do so more then once or risk a bullet. She played the game and won the prize.

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Minneapolis Woman
You do realize that ICE Agents are Federal? That means they typically have more powers, money, and training than the simple local police. Any Yes, cops/law enforcement in general DO like to put themselves in harms way so they Can Retaliate. If a cop come to your home and places their foot in the front door. Can you slam the door on their foot? Nope it's assault.... Warrant or no That women was breaking the law and in the process of being detained... they were reaching for the door and surrounding the car. That's what they did then, and that's what they will do tomorrow. The ONLY reason she's dead is because she simply didn't turn off her car and get out when the swarming began. Meaning she would still be alive if she followed simple instructions. Not only that, but if she cooperated nicely, there's a small change they would have let her off with a warning. Pro Tip from someone who's done more time than you have: Never Ever Antagonize an Authority Figure(s) unless you are 100% sure you can get away with it |

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Minneapolis Woman
I still stand by they're not police and can only act in capacity of to a citizen for limited reasons. They cannot conduct traffic stops and such as a cop can, unless they meet the standards. You're welcome to look it up. |

Re: ICE Agent Shoots and Kills Minneapolis Woman
They also receive roughly 1/6 of the training that standard municipal cops receive before being turned loose with guns on the streets and allowed to shoot whomever they please. Across the US, most municipal police get 5-6 months of Academy training and then another 3 months of closely monitored field training before being allowed to act autonomously in uniform. Most of the ICE agents hired in the last 12 months received a maximum of 47 days of training. Several thousand, due to an alleged 'computer glitch' with their onboarding paperwork, received no training whatsoever outside of a single orientation. Their level of training and discipline is much closer to a mall security cop than to any sort of real police. Hell, even Barney Fife was better trained than 90% of the masked 'federal law enforcement' out there staging kidnappings and murders in the street. |
