Human Torso Found in Kitchener, Ont. Garbage Bin
![]() A human torso was found inside a garbage bin behind an apartment building in Kitchener, Ont., police confirm. The gruesome discovery was made Saturday afternoon in Kitchener, located about 100 kilometres west of Toronto. According to police the body is believed to be that of a Caucasian woman. Waterloo Regional Police released a statement about the discovery on Sunday, indicating that the body was found in a black, short sleeved T-shirt with the words “Forget Princess I want to be a Vampire” printed on the front. The age of the victim has not been determined and police say no other body parts have been discovered in the area. The investigation is being conducted by Waterloo Regional Police’s Homicide Branch in partnership with the Coroner’s Office. As police sealed off areas for the investigation Saturday, residents of the apartment building were told they could not park their vehicles in the garage. People who live in the neighbourhood said they were surprised to see police activity in the neighbourhood. “Nothing bad ever happens around here so it’s a little bit confusing,” said Brad Wallis, a resident of the building. Another resident, Matt Deoniziak, said at least 50 per cent of the people in the building are retired and older. “It’s a quiet building,” he said. The dismembered torso has been taken to a Hamilton, Ont., hospital where an autopsy is scheduled for Monday. |

The autopsy is scheduled for today, so hopefully they'll have enough information to release that will lead to identifying her. From what I've seen, they still haven't recovered the rest of her body.
