I was thinking that too based on how much gold would be used but it also said there are jewels on it too..no way of knowing the value of them.

 most people that want a cheesy gold look like that on a gun use Titanium Nitride... it looks some what gold, so you still achieve the "massive cock" look but none of the scratches! :-D |

I'd just go with NiB - nickel boron. Then it's at least functional. On my main AR the stripped upper, BCG, trigger/hammer/disconnector and charging handle are all NiB. Good stuff but wouldn't cover the entire gun with it and leave it bare..  |
