We all know the drill: a typical busy morning showering, having breakfast, getting the kids ready for school, hogtying a criminal and rushing off to work.
At least, that's how one Tulsa, Oklahoma homeowner's morning went on Wednesday after he and his wife heard the glass from their daughter's window break and realized no animal could cause that kind of damage.
The homeowner, known only as Willie, waited for the intruder to emerge from the room, hogtied him, and left him outside on the front lawn for police.


The homeowner's wife said she and her husband heard a noise in the garage around 6am.
'I said, "A raccoon didn't do that." And he was just like, "Oh God,"' Denay Houston told NewsOn6.

Houston's husband went to the door.
'And then he waited for him to come out and then he bum-rushed him,' she said.
The homowner pinned the intruder to the ground and expertly hogtied him.
Then, safe in the knowledge the criminal was secured, he left his wife to watch over him until the police arrived and went to work.
The intruder turned out to be Robert Cole, a 31-year-old who according to police, was high on drugs and thought he was in Jenks.

Here in the UK the poor intruder would be given a lawyer, a voice by the media and granted permission to lay charges for wrongful imprisonment, assault and emotional distress and shame.

He will then claim a new TV show and appear on the Jeremy Kyle show in a couple years with the title "people dont like me".
