I can tell you this 100% for sure. I have a home in Texas that is a rental. I showed up to find the door open and the window smashed and 10s of thousands of dollars of tools stolen. I was in the middle of renovations at the time and my wife and I frequently spent the night there while working on it. Cops showed up, after a 2 hour wait, asked if I knew who did it and then they LEFT. That's what the cops did to help.

A week later, same thing. I call the cops and they said wait for an officer. I asked how long, they weren't sure, no one was available and to wait outside (in about 105 degree sunny weather). I said literally said "fuck you, I'll go in and find out if there was anyone there" as I was armed with my ccw and my car pistol. Luckily for them, no one was there or Rosa 2.0 woulda been dead. THREE HOURS later the cops showed up. FUCK THAT, shoot the stupid fuckers if you're trained and able. The cops sure as fuck aren't replacing my property or God forbid a family member.
