Indeed. I have no sympathy for the intruder. According to many state laws, the homeowner still may have committed cold blooded murder. This feels more like a "I found an excuse to kill someone" rather than "I have to defend myself because I'm in danger" situation. |

Yea, it will come down to his state's laws. In my state his actions were illegal. In other "stand your ground" states its not so clear. The owner has no legal responsibility to leave. He's perfectly fine leaving to get a gun and coming back. We don't know the conditions he pulled the trigger under, which is likely what it will come down to. And since dumbass hippy perp is dead, looks like we got only one side of the story to hear... The saying, "a dead man can't lie"... |

The state upped the charge to First Degree Murder. It comes down to premeditation--by geriatric, pointy-headed-loon there, leaving, getting a gun, and returning to shoot and kill an unarmed man, that shows premeditation. This isn't even a stand your ground issue, it wasn't old man's house, it was a business, he left it, went to his house and got his gun.  I wonder if he's a bit senile or has other mental issues. Definitely showed poor decision making skills that day. oh well hopefully he'll die in prison.  He left his office, and was IN NO DANGER. bing, bing, bing, bing. Call the police, you old, stupid, fuck. No, he got his gun, came back, and BECAME THE AGGRESSOR. mmmNO. |

There is a lot more to the story than the old man's explanation. They are coming out stating what the arrested perpetrator said and nothing more which is so they will not play their hand or their hunch and investigate if needed in the background. This guy had a relationship of some sort with the guy and I am betting he was letting him stay there in some agreement like supplying him with drugs or maybe they were intimately involved. But odds are bearded shower guy pissed off old man for not keeping up his end of the deal and then told him to fuck off when the old guy said get the fuck out. Same thing with the "kidnapped" blonde jogger a while back. Interestingly there were more internet sleuths that were screaming she was a liar than I have ever seen although I agreed fully something was wrong with that. But the cops kept straight faces and still claim they have no reason not to believe her story. But in the background they could be making a big case against her and trying to reclaim the man hours and money spent to find her. |
