HISD Officer Charged with Sexual Assault of Child

HOUSTON - A 20-year-old woman claims she and a Houston Independent School District officer had sexual relations when she was 15-years-old.

Calvim Williams, 53, is charged with 2 counts of Sexual Assault of a Child stemming from those 2007 incidents at Eastwood Academy in east Houston, according to court documents.

Those documents state the victim and Williams knew each other and would talk in the mornings before classes started and in between classes.

The victim spoke of 2 sexual encounters she and Williams had in the 2006-2007 school year. They did not involve full-on sexual intercourse.

-- The first incident was at the site of a car wash in the 7200 block of Harrisburg Boulevard on January 15, 2007. Both Williams and the victim were inside his silver Dodge truck.

-- The pair met again at the AMC Movie Theatre in the 2900 block of Dunvale Road on Jan. 27. Williams touched the victim inappropriately while the movie was playing. The victim told her mother that she was going out with friends.

The victim said she liked Williams at the time, despite knowing those previous encounters were wrong.

She did not go to authorities at the time because Williams had a daughter her age. She eventually stepped forward in 2011, because she did not want this to happen to other female students.

Williams is being held at Harris County Jail on $60,000 bond: $30,000 for each charge. His first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.

So she is stepping forward about it now and the dude is getting charged but it was consensual......................I get the whole age thing but she just admitted that she knew right from wrong with her actions.
