That's what makes me think this is just a money grab. "Why not have the addicts buy from us instead of the dealers? We can give them cleaner stuff and keep 'em alive longer to keep the money flowing in."

Or is this just a bigger, more powerful drug dealer trying to push out the smaller ones?

The absolute best drug for addicts and alcoholics is abstinence. Sadly it's not attainable for all for whatever reason.

might not be such a bad thing...if it generates revenue and thus taxes...as long as it's not massively over-priced which a lot of medicine intended for desperate people, such a cancer patients, often is....

plus it might put a dent in the islamic states funds as a lot of heroin is grown out those parts...anything that takes money out of their pockets (or any cartel who is involved) is a great thing...
