Hero Mom Who Lost Parts of Both Legs Saving Children Dances With Ellen
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/vCaBD8KSRMU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Stephanie Decker, the 37-year-old mom who lost her legs protecting her two kids during a tornado on March 2 this year, was told it would be 12 months before she could walk with the aid of prosthetics. However, during her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" yesterday, the "Hero Mom" did just that - and danced with Ellen as well. During the segment, the truly inspiring Decker recalled her terrifying experience, during which she saved her children by throwing her body on top of them as the tornado ripped their house from its foundations. Who didn't get teary eyed or cry? Come on now! I did! |
