I've given up trying to look for pics not just on this site but others too. Someone asked me if there are any pics around of the hello kitty murder involving a 23 year old night club hostess who was killed by 3 men in Hong Kong in 1999. I can't find any but i thought maybe someone on here might know if there is/isn't some pics floating around.

A 23-year-old night club hostess by the name of Fan Man-yee (樊敏儀) was kidnapped by three men: 34-year-old Chan Man-lok (陳文樂), 27-year-old Leung Shing-cho (梁勝祖) and 21-year-old Leung Wai-lun (梁偉倫). They took her to an apartment at Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, where they imprisoned her. They beat and tortured her daily over a debt dispute.

After a month of imprisonment and torture, she was killed, dismembered and her skull was stuffed into a giant Hello Kitty mermaid doll. They discarded most of the other body parts. Only the woman's skull, one tooth and some internal organs were recovered.

The killing was exposed after the 14-year-old girlfriend of one of the three perpetrators reported having continual dreams of being haunted by Fan's ghost.

The murder quickly became a sensational story in the media.

Court handling

The three men were convicted of manslaughter because the remains could not identify exactly how she died. They remain incarcerated.

Justice Peter Nguyen, who sentenced the trio, said, "Never in Hong Kong in recent years has a court heard of such cruelty, depravity, callousness, brutality, violence and viciousness." The trio was convicted of manslaughter and unlawful imprisonment by a jury of the Court of First Instance after a six-week trial. They revealed it to be one of the most gruesome cases in the territory.

Three men were sentenced to life imprisonment by a Hong Kong court Wednesday for abducting and torturing a nightclub hostess to death, cutting up her body and stuffing her skull into a Hello Kitty doll.

The trio was convicted of manslaughter and unlawful imprisonment by a jury of the Court of First Instance last month after a six-week trial, which revealed one of the most gruesome cases in the territory.

Before sentencing Wednesday, Justice Peter Nguyen said that never had a Hong Kong court heard evidence of such ''cruelty, brutality, depravity, callousness, violence and viciousness'' committed by ''a human being on another human being.''

The court was told Chan Man-lok, 34, Leung Shing-cho, 27, and Leung Wai-lun, 21, kidnapped Fan Man-yee, 23, in March last year and tortured her for a month in a flat in Tsim Sha Tsui, a shopping district in Hong Kong, over a debt dispute.

Fan was beaten and tortured daily by the three, who are all triad members, the court heard.

After the woman's death, the gang was said to have spent hours dismembering and then boiling down her body.

They hid her skull in a giant-sized Hello Kitty mermaid doll and discarded most other body parts.

In 1999, a stuffed Hello Kitty was found in an abandoned apartment with the head of a 23-year-old woman wedged inside. Turns out the poor damsel was tortured by her three debtors for a month before being amputated, skinned and boiled.

In the months following the slaying, CCTV cameras in neighborhood stores captured a female form lurking in shops well after closing hours.

Ten years on, the apartment is still boarded up and abandoned.
