Happy Gilmore "Grandma
Frances Bay, the character actress who made her mark in the Adam Sandler film "Happy Gilmore" and on the TV series "Happy Days and "Seinfeld" died Thursday. She was 92. The Los Angeles Times attributes news of her death to her agent, Brian McCabe. The Times says the Canadian actress landed her first film role in the 1976 Goldie Hawn-Chevy Chase comedy "Foul Play." Bay starred as Fonzie's grandmother on "Happy Days" and later appeared on "Seinfeld" as the older woman who Jerry steals a loaf of marbled rye from. Re: Happy Gilmore "Grandma
Bah,that's nothing. My great-grandma was 103 when she died.I still have great-uncles alive who are 96 and 93.My other great aunt was 96 when she died. They live long on that side of the family. Then again,my nanna was 58,my mum was 71(not bad since she had her first of two triple bypasses at 45 ) and my aunt 80(got polio at 7 and told she wouldn't live past 30! |
