Half-Life 2 Zombies Uses Real Gore for Textures
Post's a little late (6 days) but I searched and didn't find anything, so might as well make a thread aye  Half-Life 2, with an estimated 680k copies sold and $35mill in earned revenue, has just been called out for using real gore images as references for their zombies, and also for including these reference images directly ingame as textures for certain zombies, tho only one has been confirmed so far. Bronwen Grimes, the technical artist on Left4Dead2, has announced that "one of our team members had a nightmare folder full of photographs of people suffering from bizarre diseases and injuries", tho allegedly none of these were included in future releases. The game is still available under an M-rating, and so far only the modding community has responded by providing fictitious alternatives to the zombie models. The dude whom's face was used has yet to be identified.  ·  ·  ·  · |
