A Belgian slaughterhouse worker who went on a crazed rampage with knives, a gun and a lead pipe has been granted bail, on the dubious condition that he stops drinking Red Bull.

The 56-year-old, currently awaiting trial on assault charges, allegedly went nuts after drinking multiple cans of the sweet energy drink.

In court in Bruges, his lawyer, explained that his client had simply forgotten to take his tranquilizers before downing the drink.

The man apparently began his spree by pounding on the door of his ex-boss before getting in a car accident, beating up the other driver and beating 2
cops who tried to arrest him.

His Red Bull ban will remain in place until the trial begins.

It'll be interesting if these energy drinks start killing off people early.

I was at a smoothie bar and this dad and his kid came in. The dad ordered something and the kid picked out this natural energy drink. The dad asked lady behind the counter if that's healthier than monster he said maybe he'll buy a case of those because he was worried that his son drinking 3-4 monsters a day is too much for only a 12 year old.
