Re: Give the Kid a Break.....

i try to be a moral person i do... sometimes... i mean... if u need a buck i try give u two...but when a bank whom is responsible for double tax'in my ass for using there debt card on both ends of a purchase, as one example, whom as been just itchen to take back my house and car, makes a 5 grand mistake..... My Ass will take that and start giving 4 bucks to every fucker that asks for a buck in the future.....it might not be right, but it shure as hell would feel good....

Re: Give the Kid a Break.....

The bank fucked up, and didn't even notice until ten days later when one of their customers did their job for them. Whenever you make a counter deposit, they never ask you to verify anything. Most people don't even write their own account numbers on their counter deposit slips.

Before I was getting paid by direct deposit, I made sure to write my own account number on the deposit slip and always had the teller verify that the account information -- namely, my address -- on their screen matched the information on my ID.

Naturally, none of this applies to ATM deposits.

Re: Give the Kid a Break.....

PayPal one time had an error and showed my account as receiving 2 of the same payment (was only supposed to be like $587) but they processed it twice, and gave me the money.

They caught on within 24 hours, but DAMN. I really hoped they weren't going to, because I sure as hell wasn't going to bring it to their attention.

He gets punished for the banks fuck up? No way is that right in any way. I'm sure most would have spent it too.
I would have sat on it awhile, but then again I'm not desperate for money.
