Re: Girl, 6, Loses Jaw & Tongue After Being Mauled By 2 Pit Bulls
Poor baby. I hope they can reconstruct her face. I don't know what they can do with the tongue. Puppy mills and owners who don't train their dogs properly are bad for people and dogs. This asshole probably had them to guard his drugs. |

Also originally used in bull baiting, thus the name bulldog. Hunting. Guard dogs. Used to be the all American dog (remember Petey?) Now breeding for "gameness" fighting abilities, intentionally breeding an aggressive animal is ruining both the breed & its reputation. Playing God with genetics turning these loyal, proud animals into monsters. |

Well, one can't always control what a pet will do. That said, an owner is certainly responsible for making sure a vicious, aggressive animal has little or no opportunity to rip anyone to shreds like this poor little girl. I hope the little gaffer survives without lasting injuries or fear of dogs. (Personally I'd love to see the shithead owner buggered with a giant spikey pineapple too.) |

Like how Orcas play with seals. It's destructive fun. It's scary when we see what our predator pets are capable of. Never forget. |

Yes, if said person hasn't been involved with training like you have. If the dog doesn't obey that person like they do you, they should not be trusted alone with it. Also, if the person doesn't know about dog behavior and your dog's personal quirks, they shouldn't be alone with it. Most kids fall under both categories. |
