There's at least a 50/50 chance that he learned that kind of behavior from his parents and the environment to which they chose to expose him.

Gangsta thug culture is no longer a new phenomenon the way it was in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It's been almost 40 years since that shit went mainstream, which means it's been between 1 to 3 generations that have been brought up in that lifestyle. Welfare and other entitlement/"reparations" programs have been around for even longer than that, and the two go hand-in-hand when it comes to producing this kind of person.
