Re: George Stinney, Black Teen Executed In 1944, May Get New Trial LOL Glowingfool hates the idea that a 14 year-old black kid in South Carolina might have actually been railroaded, so he just HAD to dig til he found some unsubstantiated hearsay to cast doubt on a probable injustice...way to go.... ![]() |

Re: George Stinney, Black Teen Executed In 1944, May Get New Trial Seriously, does it HURT you if they try? No trial has been set, they haven't even convinced a judge to reopen this case and chances are they won't, but how does this harm anyone? It's certainly not the first time that people have tried to address old injustices, and it's not just the 'blacks.' |

Re: George Stinney, Black Teen Executed In 1944, May Get New Trial Go fuck yourself. You may be comfortable swallowing someone else's summary of a incident, but I'm not. I never take one report at its face value. Everyone has an agenda. My desire to find additional information is borne out of skepticism and intellectual curiosity. Obviously you're not interested in anything that might lead to a truth that derails your self righteous outrage, but I am. Records are scarce and the witnesses are all dead. No reasonable chance of conviction exists at this point because there's no evidence available to gather, so an acquittal would be an automatic, symbolic result. I don't know if he did it or not, but just because he was railroaded doesn't mean he didn't do it. If the claim that they took him back to the scene and he recovered the murder weapon from a hiding place is true, then that seems like compelling evidence of guilt. All this shit about a "14 year old boy" not being able to physically pull this off is almost as ridiculous as your pathological desire to run around pointing out all the people you deem to be "racist". ![]() |
