George Greer Sentenced To 10 Years For 19th DUI
Now that's a drinking problem George Greer won't be driving anywhere for a while. The Tallmadge, Ohio man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his 19th DUI, according to FOX8 Cleveland. That's the maximum sentence he could have received. In January, Greer was arrested after passing out in a car that slammed in to pole. Greer's blood alcohol level was .215. The legal limit is .08. Summit County prosecutor Sherri Walsh told WTAM that Greer deserves to be imprisoned. "Frankly, I think he needs to be locked up as long as possible to keep our roadways safer," she said. When Greer was found guilty in April, Walsh expressed similar sentiments in an interview with AAN. She noted that Greer got out of jail in 2011 after a 4-year sentence for a previous DUI. "It's shocking and appalling that this man is driving on our highways risking the lives of so many citizens," Walsh said. |
