To me it looks more like the bag was opened (maybe on purpose, maybe the zipper broke) and they tried to close it with tape and maybe the dildo was just near the top of the bag and not wanting to touch it, they left it where it was. I can't imagine a baggage handler would think someone is gay just because they had that and their name on the tag. I don't think it's a hate crime, maybe if someone wrote *** somewhere on it, then ok. Sorry it hurt their feelings in front of people that probably didn't think it was a big deal and won't ever see them again..

I think they're like a lot of people in the US that think everyone is out to get them because of what they are and they want to sue just for easy money.

I'd rather have a purple dildo be taped to my bag every time I fly instead of having to choose if I want to be molested or X-rayed but that's me.

I probably would have carried it on myself in a carry on bag so this wouldn't happen. I never used one anyway.

I lock the bags I check, but, it's been a long time since I flew. I carry all of my jewelry and a change of clothing since my bags arrived on a later flight once.

It was cool though. They put us in first class for the return flight.

Oh yes, Homeland Security is extremely concerned with what I take on the plane. I can only hope that they are as concerned with what baggage handlers can do with flyer's luggage. Considering the cases of theft and tampering of luggage, I believe we know where the weakest link is.

It was obviously on purpose and they were probably humiliated!

The supposed ,"men", who did it, damaged it! Women wouldn't do it. We don't have issues with gay people! We are secure in our sexuality.

Too bad there was not a LBGT Convention in town that day!
