It seems the French are none too pleased with being cut loose from the newly founded AUKUS alliance.

Re: The French Aren't Happy..

The French, with four hour workdays and screw around for five years and sucked up billions of Australian money making insignificant progress on development of the subs under contract.

That, and changes in world events made obtaining nuclear vessels a clearly good decision.

Re: The French Aren't Happy..

Someone should tell Macron that there is no social pressure other then straight up corruption, that can force a buyer to keep on buying a worst product, when betters are available. That apply to everything including nuclear submarines.

Re: The French Aren't Happy..

Who ever authorised the original procurement of obsolete French diesel subs should be fired and kicked up the arse. We needed to get nuke subs years ago and should be buying a design that has already been tested and in current service.
We don't need subs in 25 years, we need them now.

They'll come round. A nice relaxing bike ride is what's needed, wearing the traditional cycling gear of striped jersey, beret and string of onions around the neck.
