Florida Teenager on Shrooms Shot Himself in the Head to ‘Wake Up’ from Bad Trip
![]() A 17-year-old DeLand boy shot himself in the forehead on Tuesday in an attempt to wake up from a "bad dream" after eating and drinking tea infused with hallucinogenic mushrooms. ![]() The teen told deputies and emergency room staff he was not trying to k!ll himself but instead he just wanted to wake up, a report said Emergency room doctors removed the bullet that was lodged in his head. "I just wanted to wake up from the bad nightmare," he said, according to the report. "I'm happy and I love my life." The teen did the drugs with friends on Tuesday afternoon and when the friends left, he fell asleep. He said when he woke up a short time later, "it felt like it wasn't real." He told deputies he felt like he was in a bad nightmare and could not escape the house. He then walked to his parents bedroom and grabbed a .22-caliber rifle and shot himself in the forehead. When that didn't wake him his "nightmare," he attempted to clean up the blood that splattered on the carpet, bandaged his head and walked outside and asked a man to take him to a DeLand hospital. When deputies investigated the scene, they determined the evidence confirmed his story. Volusia deputies said the teen will not face criminal charges. Disclaimer: i am not from Florida, but I cant seem to stop finding crazy news from there.. wtf. Florida will be the first to go when the end of time comes. |

Shooting yourself in the head is never a good cure for waking yourself up. It's likely to do the exact opposite, and put you to sleep for good. Shrooms are certainly interesting things |

Well, mushrooms like the one in the photo could have put him to sleep forever, guess he was on Magic Shrooms though. Other similar cases have been reported before http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...mushrooms.html http://www.simplyamsterdam.nl/news/F..._mushrooms.htm After the case that you'll see in the second link, Netherlands banned them. Funny, but bad trips are a bitch |

[QUOTEBrothemus Disclaimer: i am not from Florida, but I cant seem to stop finding crazy news from there.. wtf. Florida will be the first to go when the end of time comes.[/QUOTE] I thought California was first just breaking off into the ocean. I guess that could happen with Florida though. |

geographically speaking, yea maybe so.. but FL locals will go insane before that.. lol. but back to geographics.. i keep forgetting about this plate that's centered in the US, under several states.. its said to be the largest fault/plate, whatever its called and it would cause more damage than any earthquake. ive only read up on it a couple years ago when birds started dying simultaneously around new years. everyone had a guess as to what caused it. other than that, i wish i would remember the name of it.
