FL Woman Filmed Texting While Driving School Bus Full of Children!
The Tampa-area bus driver was filmed by a 14-year-old student fiddling with her phone while being driven home from school, along with other kids. A 14-year-old student in Hillsborough County, Florida, shot cellphone video of a school bus driver who appeared to text while driving. A Florida school bus driver has been suspended from driving duties after a teen taped her appearing to text while ferrying kids home. The unidentified driver was caught thumbing her smartphone with one hand while driving a busload of children in Hillsborough County last week, local WFTS-TV reported. Venus Cotto-Silva's 14-year-old daughter shot the video with her own cellphone. "When she showed me the video I just couldn't believe it," Cotto-Silva told WFTS-TV. "You're supposed to get them from point A to point B in a safe condition. That's not safe at all," the mom fumed. "Not only are you going to kill a driver, you're going to kill the children on that bus." At the end of the video, the driver appears to make a sudden move to grab the wheel as the bus drifts into another lane. A schools spokesman said the Tampa-area district has a policy forbidding bus drivers from using their phones while behind the wheel. The driver was pulled from her route on Wednesday and is now on desk duty, the station reported. The district said it needed to find out what she was doing with the phone before deciding on a punishment. A texting ban for all drivers in Florida goes into effect on October 1. Outfuckingrageous! This woman needs her ass beat. If one of my nieces or nephews was on the bus I would demand she lose her license. People need to stop texting and driving. ETA: "The district said it needed to find out what she was doing with the phone before deciding on a punishment." Wth does it matter what she was doing?? |

I would have grabbed that thing and thrown it out fucking window. Fewer things piss me off more than drunks behind the wheel, but atleast drunk drivers have the excuse of alcohol impaired judgement. Fuck that lady  |
