Five Month Old Infant Killed By Falling Tree
TOWN OF MONTOUR, N.Y. (18 NEWS) - New York State Police in Horseheads and the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office are investigating the accidental death of an infant. Horsehead's State Police say yesterday at 3:05 PM, the infant was at Catherine Valley Creek, in the Town of Montour with his parents and 12-year-old sister when a large dead tree unexpectedly fell on top of the children killing the infant. His 12-year-old sister was unharmed. The Schuyler County Ambulance and Montour Falls Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
