Redbull is available in all 28 EU countries and as far as I know it can be bought from normal supermarkets and kiosks. I think what you said dates back to around 10 years ago and nowadays they just have age restrictions. In Finland you have to be over 15yo to buy any energy drinks. But back to the news article. It is indeed propylene glycol but it should be mentioned that in EU the limit for it is 0,1 grams per kg whereas in USA it's 5 grams. That's quite a whopping difference when it comes to chemicals. |
