You can go to jail out west if you're actually observed throwing cigs, matches....anything, out. I have seen peole at camp sites hauled off in cuffs. We like to go to the North Rim of the canyon and every few years we have to do Red Rock Country...

It always amazed me that people actually PAID ATTENTION to the possibility of wildfires...and that they seemed to try and watch out for them.

They are charging some of the people here with arson. Doesn't seem to be making a difference though. If people know there is a fire hazard, I guess they need to be jailed if they aren't doing their part. There is too much damage to forests and homes for someone not to be held accountable..
