Susan, I think I get what you're saying. Technically she raped the underage boy, because the boy was below the age of consent he has no ability under the law to either object or allow sex with anyone. So she really did rape him...legally speaking. Statutory Rape is, at lease in California, not used much anymore except in very specific cases. Unlawful Sex, Lewd and Lascivious Acts Against a Child/Minor, and Oral Copulation With a Minor, are some of the more common modern charges. This chick took advantage of the child based on her position of power and the difference in age between the victim and perpetrator alone makes this a very serious crime. That she only got the laughable amount of time is absurd. Although female pedophiles make up less than one percent of all pedophiles, they are every bit as dangerous and repetitive as their male counterparts. For some reason, Judges and juries seem to cut a woman a break on pedophile cases. If she had been a man, they would have put him away for ten years or more. This chick is sick and very dangerous. Pedophiles cannot be fixed...it would be like trying to change someone's sexual orientation against their will...it's just not gonna happen, they can only be controlled and monitored very closely for the rest of their lives. You can bet this isn't the first time she did this...it's just the first time she got caught. |

No, then she will just pass it on to kids. Two years is not long enough. I don't care what the gender is, pedophiles need tougher punishment. They ruin the lives of children. It's sickening. There is no excuse.
