Re: FEDS Issue Warning About “imminent Terrorist Attack” on United States
thanks, however.... from the source you just linked here: the article then goes on to say: (source) ...however, this group, in their new release, fails to cite any credible sources, uses only anonymous sources and fails to provide any proof of the 'bulletin' they claim was given. so, there's no real reason to believe that this supposed threat is anything other than propaganda since it is based on no real evidence and contradicts what the feds actual said. Judicial Watch also gives itself away by adding: ... at the end, indicating the intent of the entire piece. |

Re: FEDS Issue Warning About “imminent Terrorist Attack” on United States
you posted the Judicial Watch article and a Washington Post article talking about the Judicial Watch article (and citing Judicial Watch as it's only source) but no actual proof of a credible threat. |

Re: FEDS Issue Warning About “imminent Terrorist Attack” on United States
US Department of Homeland Security(WASHINGTON) -- The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement on Friday in regards to the decision made by the government of the United Kingdom to raise that country's domestic terror threat level to "severe."Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in the statement that the U.S. government has not received any "specific, credible threat to the U.S. homeland." Still, Johnson noted, militants from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria have shown the intent and capability to capture American citizens overseas, making them an "active and serious threat."Johnson points out the action that the DHS has taken in recent weeks, including enhanced security at overseas airports and increased tracking of foreign fighters traveling to and from Syria. "Additional security measures" are also under consideration, he said.Johnson expressed deep concern about the ongoing situation in both Iraq and Syria, saying that the DHS will "continue to evaluate and adopt serious and prudent homeland security measures as the situation warrants." Earlier on Friday, the FBI noted that the United Kingdom's decision was not based on a specific threat. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest echoed that sentiment, saying that he didn't "anticipate at this point that there is a plan to change" the U.S. terror threat level. Re: FEDS Issue Warning About “imminent Terrorist Attack” on United States
Just trying to post what I could find regarding the thread title. I have never considered faux-news as credible. Should have known that unless one of the major news agencies is reporting it, that it is 99% likely spin or fear pandering. Thanks for the correction |

The thing is, our level won't be raised. They could be pounding on the doors of the White House and Obummer would be too busy golfing and fund raising to care. He needs to take lessons from the UK and *gasp* even Putin. At least Putin (as horrible as he is) gets shit done...while still managing to pose shirtless on a horse. THIS is perfect |

Re: FEDS Issue Warning About “imminent Terrorist Attack” on United States
Of course the federal government is not going to publicly say a attack is imminent. As of right now this administration is trying to downplay every threat. I know America is the best in the world at smoking these attacks out. But our enemies have learned much about how we gather information. And they have learned they cannot trust anyone. So a imminent attack on America may very well be. But because of the midterm elections, and our President downsizing our military. A long with him pulling out of Iraq against the advisement of many. He is very reluctant to admit he was wrong. During his campaign he boosted about how he ended the Iraq war. And how terrorists were on the run. That we destroyed so much of their infrastructure and command and control. Weather you agree with the Iraq war or not. It was Obama's job to finish the mission. When all he cared about was ending it before his reelection campaign. And now he is in a very difficult position having pulled out of Iraq. And now facing going right back. So I don't put much faith in our government giving us a warning. That would be like Obama admitting he is a failure. He sold himself as the man who was going to stop America's provocative policies that make us enemies. Remember all the apologies for America's arrogance, and exceptionalism. The fact that America is being threatened to be attacked because of Obama's policies is a slap to his face. |
