Father Suspected in Double Homicide Jotted Anti-gay Notes on His Koran

HOUSTON — A family spokesperson says James Larry Cosby, the father of one of two women whose bodies were found dumped outside a South Texas convenience store last week and now in custody in connection with their murders, is a practicing Muslim who made notes about his anti-gay views on his Koran.

Community activist Quanell X, speaking for the Cosby family, also describes the scene at Cosby’s home where investigators suspect he may have murdered his daughter Britney and her girlfriend Crystal Jackson, reports KRIV-TV.

“There were obvious blood splatters. There was obvious large amounts of blood in the carpet,” said Quanell X.

The two women, who had been in a relationship for the past two years, were found murdered last Friday.

Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset would not speculate about a motive, but Quannel X claims he found writings about homosexuality on Cosby’s Koran indicating he may have had an issue with his daughters sexual orientation. “In Islam homosexuality is forbidden. It is forbidden. I learned today that Larry was a practicing Muslim,” said Quanell X.

The Houston Chronicle reported that Cosby’s fingerprints were found at the Port Bolivar crime scene where the women’s bodies were located, and that Trochesset described Cosby’s Houston home as “a secondary crime scene.”

The criminal complaint states that Cosby saw his daughter’s body on March 6 and failed to report the corpse to authorities.

Autopsies revealed that Jackson died from a single gunshot to the head and that Britney Cosby succumbed to blows to her head, but also had a broken neck, the affidavit said. The women also appeared to have been killed somewhere other than where their bodies were discovered.

James Cosby is a registered sex offender who was released from prison last October, and has an extensive criminal history with convictions for sexual assault, assault, drugs and weapons dating back to the late 80s.

Officials in Galveston County, Texas, said Monday that the deaths of a lesbian couple from Houston have officially been ruled as homicides.

Autopsies on the bodies of the two women found outside a Port Bolivar convenience store last week determined that Britney Cosby, 24, died of blunt force trauma, and Crystal Jackson, 24, was shot to death, reported the Galveston Daily News.

Maj. Darrell Isaacks said authorities are waiting for additional results from the autopsies.

Detectives investigating the double homicide suspect the women were killed elsewhere, likely between 9 p.m. Thursday and about 7:45 a.m. Friday, and their bodies were driven to Port Bolivar, they were dumped near a metal garbage dumpster.

Investigators have not determined a motive in the killings, and that it’s still unclear if their murder would be considered a hate crime. Family members said the two women had been together for two years.

Late Sunday, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office released a sketch of a suspect in connection with the murders, describing the suspect as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 foot 11 inches to 6 feet tall with an average build, a slight mustache and a small soul-patch-type of beard.

Sheriff Henry Trochesset said the man was last seen with Jackson and Cosby in the womens’ car, a 2006 Kia Sorento with gray trim that has paper plates.

I agree with most of you say Twisted. Except the devil is an invention by crazy nutters like illustrated in this thread. So allah can't be the devil. However, they ARE guilty of way worse than what they accuse the devil of.

I have said it MANY times, there will NEVER be peace on earth as long as islam continues to hold power over the simple minded. Allah can lick my balls!

Due to decades of people waking up, free thinkers have for the most part neutered the catholic church as well as christianity. Until recently, the catholic church has covered up their child molestations, etc.

Just imagine how the change will come when it comes out that most of the radical islamists have been fucking camels all of these years? Lol!
