Re: Farmer Keeps Burglar Hostage in His Car A farmer was hailed a hero after using a TRACTOR to trap a thief. Harald Mikkelsen, 66, caught the burglar red-handed as he tried to rob his grocery shop in the middle of the night. Mr Mikkelsen was alerted to the raid by passers-by who contacted him at his home a few miles away. He raced over to his farm near Alta, northern Norway. The panicked burglar tried to flee in his Mercedes - but got stuck on the tractor's forklift when he rammed his car into it. Mr Mikkelsen then used the vehicle to lift the car off the ground. The burglar even gave up his attempt to escape, sitting in his car and smoking cigarettes until police arrived to arrest him. |

Re: Farmer Keeps Burglar Hostage in His Car kind of pointless to run with the car stuck, and the car obviously is in his car so he'd be snapped up quickly afterwards anyway so might as well chill in the car to wait for cops rather than make it worse down the road |
