Re: Facebook Like an Infectious Disease, Will Lose 80% of Users, Princeton Study
I like Facebook so I can keep in contact with my friends from the past. I don't add random idiots so I can say I have 5,000 friends. As for this article, I call BULLSHIT. Facebook isn't going anywhere anytime soon. 2015-2017? Not hardly, maybe in 2030? |

Pyramid, I have noticed a HUGE decline in activity just in the past three months. As I said before, it was things friends usually talk about... Then it went to food pics... Then into drama... Now that drama has stopped and all I seem to see are stupid ass pictures that someone jacked out of some chain letter they got... Just at my place of work (18 people) 12 have a FB profile. Out of those 12, just in the past two months, three have deleted their profile... |

Lamebook is MySpace'ing as we speak, has been for a couple years. All the younger people i know... like 'recently graduated highschool'-aged are all about Instagram and SnapChat now. That. ^ facebook is all about drama and a place for Moms and Grandmas to share pics of their ugly kids/grandkids from what i hear people say... younger folks don't want to put their whole lives/business online for their parents to snoop anymore, IMO. All these companies are trying to integrate EVERYTHING you buy, watch, or browse into facebook or Google+ to data-mine and market... fuck that - i don't want everything i buy off Amazon.com to show up on my social media profiles or every YouTube comment i make to be viewable by everyone i know and everyone they know and everyone THEY know and so on... |
