F-22 Crash This Week.

Official Press Release.

I wasn't on duty for this and it happened pretty far from base. As far as I know this was the first fatality for the F-22. I have no pics of the crash site but from I understand it's just a hole in the ground. If any of you live locally, DO NOT go there or near there. All stealth aircraft are predominantly composite material and the fibers are like asbestos fibers, they don't come out when they go in. You will die and it won't be comfortable or quick.

Also, has anyone heard any bullshit about a UFO crash associated with this? I'm sure some kook is throwing that shit around.

Re: F-22 Crash This Week.

Mild, tentative update.

Apparently the pilot ejected while going mach+.

Aircraft moving at 768mph+

Human terminal velocity roughly 120mph.

Do the math.

Re: F-22 Crash This Week.

saw a video on tv once of a pilot ejecting while the plane was moving at the sound of speed or something along those lines, you just saw his body flailing all over the place, limbs being dislocated and broken, cant see this clip on youtube tho.

Speed of sound I think you mean.

Well as I understand it, the latest ejection seats basically have limb retractors, i.e.- tethers that draw the arms and legs to the seat when the ejection sequence is initiated. Think about it this way though, your internal organs like your brain and all the goodies contained in your torso aren't all secured in there, they basically float. When you're going about 1300 miles per hour and get to the terminal velocity of the human body, roughly 120 mph, that's a 1180 mile per hour difference being made up in matter of a second or so. To make what's going on very plain, take a jug of milk, put it on the table and slosh it around. Notice how the milk continues to move after you stop sloshing it? Yah... same thing happens when you go from 1300 mph to 120mph, but take into account the weight and speed differential.
