Two people from South Carolina, including the child’s mother, have been charged in the murder of a 3 year old boy on his birthday.

Theia Darion McArdle, 21, and her boyfriend, Richard Vermon Bowman, 27, have been charged with murder for the death of Gabriel Apollo McArdle, who passed away Tuesday morning after she brought him along with her while she worked as an escort.

Theia, who advertised herself on a female escort website, took her child to a sex gig in Newberry, South Carolina, Fox Carolina reports.

Details are still emerging from the case, but police have said sometime after Theia left the house following the ‘meeting’ with the Newberry client, ”something occurred in the car where the 3 year old child was severely injured and lost consciousness.”

Gabriel was left in the car with Bowman while she met the person in the ad.

McArdle and Bowman rushed the young boy to the hospital, but doctors could not save him.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the boy’s death, but have released that he died of respiratory depression due to blunt force trauma to the head.

McArdle and Bowman are being held without bail. They are scheduled to appear in court in February.

There are some stepparents who adjust well to blended families.

The man shown holding Gabriel is not the father. He started the facebook website with the link in the OP.

He is part of a gay couple, who helped deliver the baby, and in his own words, "played the role of the father," that day. Apparently, this baby had no father.
