Elephants dressed in Santa costumes have handed out presents to surprised kids at a school in Thailand.
The unlikely Father Christmases gave toys to children at the Ayutthaya institution and came dressed in the red and white of the festive season.
They were straddled by riders also wearing Santa outfits, with the animals dancing to Christmas songs while handing out gifts in the town of Jirasartwitthaya.
The youngsters were not shy about grabbing toys from the trunks of the elephants and made sure to reward the Goliaths with food treats once they had done so.
Teacher Michael St Clair was excited to see the large animals, he said: ‘This is the best day of the year when the elephants come.
‘Where else do you get elephants other than Jirasart?
‘Elephants and kids love it, the teachers love it. Everybody loves the elephants.’
