Deo Perfume Candy, which is not yet available in the UK, contains geraniol from Bulgaria, which, according to Belgium-based manufacturer Beneo, aromatises as it evaporates through the skin.
'The fragrant packets of Deo Perfume Candy bring you the sweet taste of the roses as a delicious treat of your senses. They take the pleasure of enjoying a delicious candy to a whole new level,' Deo Perfume Candy says on its website.
'Science and nature have come together to make a functional food that leaves your skin with a beautiful rose fragrance. The innovative technology behind Deo Perfume Candy is based on research by Japanese scientists. Their studies showed that when ingested, rose oil exudes aromatic compounds, such as geraniol, through the skin. When evaporating through the skin, geraniol aromatizes it with a beautiful rose fragrance.'
Beneo claims an individual who eats four sweets and waits six hours will come up smelling of roses, but experts are sceptical of the claim.
'I think we can probably agree that if you eat food with a lot of aromatic spice, like garlic and curry, eventually it will work its way into your sweat and influence the way you smell,' George Preti, a chemist at Monell Chemical Senses Centre in Philadelphia, told ABC News.
'But no one has actually demonstrated that.'

I like vanilla or orange. I used alot of unscented products, but, I wear vanilla as my frangrance and have a couple of nicely scented orange shampoos.

I'm the 0.01% with the issue from any product ;) Keep my hydrocortisone close by at all times and I'm good.

Little known fact about orange, the colour and scent. Is causes hunger in almost all people. thats why almost every fast food place either has orange in its signage or in its restaurants. As well as why is is served on plates of food. And a little trick for servers, wear orange scent perfumes and watch your sales go up.... true story happened to a friend , of a friend of mine
